Maria Ampudia completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology at California State University, Fullerton, and her Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at Western University of Health Sciences. She has over thirteen years of experience serving as a physician assistant in oncology/hematology specialty. A seasoned and creditable professional, Maria’s strength lies in her ever-positive attitude.
Maria is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology (APAO), California Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA). She has co-authored a paper ‘High prevalence of vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency in breast cancer patients’ presented at the Annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (2007).
